The journey of our chocolate tells the fascinating story of how the cocoa beans from Cameroon become a chocolate bar, which is made with passion in Osterholz-Scharmbeck.

It all starts in the cacao plantations of Cameroon, where we work closely with a cooperative that is committed to sustainable cultivation. This partnership is based on the principles of fair trade, meaning each farmer is fairly compensated for their hard work and contribution. Through direct trade, we ensure that value creation stays where it is needed most - in the communities that grow the cocoa.

After careful harvesting, the cocoa beans are fermented and dried, a crucial step that produces the unique taste and aroma that makes our chocolate so special. Once this process is complete, the beans set off on their journey to Germany, more specifically to Osterholz-Scharmbeck.

In our factory the beans are roasted, ground and processed into a fine mass. This dedication to quality and craftsmanship results in chocolate that is not only delicious, but also an expression of respect for the environment and the people who grow this cocoa.
